Kodak Signet Auto 35
A unique gem, that looks and feels fantastic.
Honestly, I'm struggling to find any reliable information on this exact camera. The Kodak Signets were originally developed in the early 1950s, beginning with the first Signet 35 in 1951, and continued through the decade as a range of viewfinder cameras. This particular version, however, stands out from the usual examples you see online. It features a sleek black body, a pop-up flash, and all the hallmarks of a well-built, thoughtfully designed camera. I believe it's one of the final Signets to hit the market, and, it's extremely rare to find one in the UK second hand market.
Despite the lack of detailed historical records for this exact model, it’s clear that it was made with care - the body feels solid and durable, the controls are intuitive, and the design is clean and attractive. Whether you’re a collector of rare Kodak cameras or simply looking for a stylish, functional 35mm point-and-shoot, this version of the Signet Auto is both unique and highly desirable. It’s a rare find, with a cool vintage-modern aesthetic that sets it apart from other cameras in the Signet line.
What I'm going to do for you guys, is stick an old film in it, head out, get some shots, and show you what it's capable of... bear with!
About Our Cameras
Our cameras are vintage and pre owned items. Many were originally manufactured decades ago and, while carefully inspected and tested, they may show signs of age or previous use.
Due to the nature of vintage electronics and mechanical components, long term performance cannot be guaranteed. With proper care and normal use, these cameras can continue to produce great results, but occasional maintenance or repair may be required over time.
